| The King and the Witch |
"Who say Evil Gui dunno how to write stories with morals" - Evil Gui
There was once a King who thought he knew everything and have everything. His kingdom was properous and the people were at peace. One day, a beautiful witch appeared infront of him, in his court and told him this " There is something I have you know not of and you do not possess". Upon saying that line , the witch faded away with a mysterious grin.
Enticed and curious by the witch's appearance and message, the king decide to set off on a journey to find the witch, to understand what he does not have and possess it if possible. He travel far and wide, asking other travellers along the journey if they have seen the witch. After a few months, he found where the witch stayed.
"So you have come, like many other kings. If you can please me, I shall reveal to you what you do not possess" said the witch when she saw the king. For the next few months, the King did everything he could to please the witch, but the witch will always find fault with him. Thru out this period of time, the king's aides send messagers to the king, informing him of the troubles in the kingdom when hes not around.
Ignoring the messagers, the king continue to try to please the witch. Yet the witch still remained nonchalant. Infact she even started to treat the king like her dog. Finally fustrated, the king decides to leave the witch and head back to his kingdom like some discarded toy.
To his suprise, his kingdom was completely in ruins when he returned. A rival kingdom invaded his kingdom when he was not around. Without the king to lead them, the kingdom fell without too much resistance. In his moment of sadness, the witch appear before him once again. "Now I shall reveal to you what you do not possess" said the witch. " A heart, as malicious as mine. " She revealed with a smirk on her face.
Moral of the story : Never trust a beautiful witch or anything that rhymes with it.
