" I slam dunk today and pulled my thigh at the same time" -Slightly Delighted Gui
It has been a roller coaster week for me... up up up and even more down down down moments... I truly feel that I need those green mushrooms in Super Mario .O well, lets forget it all as usual. Its the start of spring season in Japan ( I'm 1 week late I know). That means, its time for me to say bye bye to the slimest Gundams I ever seen in Gundam 00 and the guys with manly tears from Kaiji, and welcome some new series with open arms to fill in the void.
Before I start off, I must point out that the above two series are the cream of the corp in the winter season, the only 2 that have kept me hooked on like a fish to bait on a weekly basis. For your info... Naruto (Once the top anime in Japan) lost me when they decided to show 1 year of Frillers and its sequel, Naruto Shippuden ( top too when debuted last year)suffered the same fate when they needed 20min to explain what happened in 5 min.
Now, here are the spring animes I'm currently watching. With all due respect, its only been 1 week, I might just drop 1 or 2 of them or maybe add some new one as time passes.
The Tower of Druaga ~ The Aegis of Uruk~ With a name like that, one can safely assume its some fantasy story. Well it is. I have only watch 2 epsiode of it so far. The 1st epsiode subbed by the production studio itself, is freely avaiable on Youtube ( infact I heard the whole series will be so too ), impressed me alot , thou I can't say the same for the 2nd epsiode... Click here to see the 1st epsiode on Youtube. Watching this show reminded me of the time, the very long time ago when I was conned/ corced into playing MMORPG like Rose Online, The Fourth Comming, and sad to say, the lifeless Maple Story...
Macross Frontier
The Macross series need not much explaination, but for those of you who have never heard of it, I will give a quick summary here. Alien wack earth. Human escape into space in giant spaceship. Then alien and human lived happily ever after or so it seems. Macross Frontier is the latest addition to the series. I always have mix feelings for the Macross series. I Love Macross Plus, like Macross : Do You Remember Love but dislike Macross Zero and is disguested with Macross 7 (It even has a aptly named side story call Macross 7 Trash). Unforunately, the later 2 are the newer shows in the series until Frontier of course. Frontier have a good start so far, the coloring is nice, and as long as the main char don't bring a guitar into the cockpit, sings in it too and starts firing speakers into some alien scum, I think this will be a good series.
Kamen No Maid Guy Its a comedy about a girl who is about to collect a large inheritance when she reach 18. Assassins were send to kill her to prevent her to collect the inheritance. Her gandfather hired a "maid" and "maid guy" to protect her and her brother. Although thats all there is to the plot, this is one of the few shows that actually made me laugh out loud. Its kinda like Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu , with an uglier male lead . Good thing he wears a mask to cover his face... But the things he does to his owner... I hope my maid never see this show... By the way, heres the offical site and I swear its real . http://www.maidguy.com/
Code Geass R2 "If being powerless is a sin then is power justice ? Is revenge a sin ? Is friendship enough for justice ?" Oh my... I have been waiting for the 2nd season of Code Geass since last year, when they ended season 1 with 2 best friends on the verge of shooting one another and a crazy girl about to start a nuclear explosion. Well, R2 started 1 year after that scene... Which totally leave me blur blur... So what happen 1 year ago ? This is Code Geass after all, I doubt they will fail to entertain ~ Especially when the body bags have already started piling up in the very 1st epsiode, just like season 1..." We have been waiting for you Lord Zero" so have I my friends.
And yes thats its, Only 4 series that have caught my attention so far, out of the 40 + new series that was release for Spring.
"We are evolving with every passing minute ! With one revolution we move foward abit! Thats a Drill !" - Simon the digger ~
Sob sob ~~ Gurren Lagann finally ended. The ending was a little bit of a suprise for me ... you know, I am the type of sucker that believe that shows should end happily ever after... even more so after the protagonists went thru so much just to be together like being seperate in different universe, losing so many comardes in the procress, and having to fight a whole universe just to reunite...
Anyway, managed to get my hand on this....
My favourite track got to be 19 - " Libera me" From Hell. Its a mixture of ophera singing, rap and some electronic instrument. Sounds weird but its actually nice when you listen to it. I will end my post with this ~ "My drill is the drill that will pierce heaven itself " Feels good when you say it out loud ~
Movie of the Moment : This is still not the sadest part of the ending ~
"Simone: You are thinking what I am thinking ? Viral : Yea... top or bottom ? " I never saw this comming...
Good news to all, I am going to be rich... dirty smelly filthy rich. No, I did not strike 4d, toto or any lottery. Its even better... some Kundi from Africa just send me an email asking me to help him. In exchange, he will give me a handsome tip. Just look here. I don't really like to meddle in other people's civil war but I guess I just got to help the poor fellow...Ok , the guy spelted a few words wrong, that dosen't mean I should'nt trust him right...
Lately, one apple seller (who is going to be even more smelly , more dirty and more filthy rich than me) on a small red dot, have been sending out threatening letters asking for $$$ , hinting at lawsuits to people who pluck apples from Bukit Timah. He says that he have brought the rights to sell New Zealand apple, Japan apple , Africa apple and alot of other apples. But his apple business have been bad, so he is busy sueing people who pluck apple from Bukit Timah (0.0)y
True, all the apple tress in Bukit Timah orginated from those countries he represent. But, the reason why people go pluck from Bukit Timah instead of buying from him is simple, its FREE, you know, everyone like freebies... especially on the small red dot... Secondly, The apples from Bukit Timah is fresher than those he sold, thirdly, he has been selling the same rotten apples for 2 years at high price, isn't a lost expected ? last but not least, he was caught selling apples pluck from Bukit Timah posing them as his...
Of course , the apple seller is not wrong to go around busy sueing people, from a business point of view that is... Morally , its seem alittle bit grey... Have you heard about the 9 year old who recieved his letter ? ( kinda like a black letter from Mai Otome) He then have to go meet this apple seller at his apple HQ.
A possible reenactment.
Apple seller : Si Gina, don't think you young young I will just let you off with a warning. I not the kind to give warning ... Pluck so many apple from Bukit Timah, lucky you leave your footprints, otherwise my rottweiler cannot find you. For each apple you pluck , I can charge you 5k. But I am a good man, I give u discount. You give me 3 K 1 shot, I will forgive you. But you must sign this, you cannot tell others what happened here and You must stop plucking apple for the rest of your screwed life .
9 year old : Whats the 3k for ???
Apple Seller: Don't think I take 3k from you is I keep. I got to buy meat for my rottweilers ok, So many of your kind pluck apple, they smell here smell there, follow this follow that also very tired one... so you don't anyhow think .... So you wanna give or not ? or you prefer to speak to my big bad Lawyer in court. Not to mention, the Motherland support me. I have recieved the imperial edict from the powers above, ... you and your kind better wake up from your bloody ideas ... you all have been double-6-ed* by me, understand !!!
End of reenactment.
See, the apple seller is not such a bad person after all... right ?
double-6-ed* -In board games, you roll 2 dices to determine the damge you are inflicting to your enemy. When the 2 dices show '6', it means a direct hit, a critical hit, a head shot, a kick in the groin, depending on which board game you playing.
Movie of the moment : Absolutely nothing to do with this post.
"Go Orange , rip that heartless, sly bastard to pieces..." - Me rooting for Orange.
Well bad things come in groups, suprisingly, good things also... How long have I waited to see the last 2 epsiodes of Code Geass... To see Lulu get his just deserts for killing his sibling and using people like chess pieces...
"You dare to place your eyes on other girls...With your perverted despicable look full of ill intentions" - Zero Louise in season 2 of Zero No Tsukamina
I never knew this show would have a season 2. A pleasent suprise nevertheless... If only my life have more pleasent suprises...
Movie of the Moment : All woman would love this glasses.
"Believe in you. Not in the me who believe in you. Not in the you who believe in me. You should believe, believe in yourself." - Lord Kamina's words of wisdom.
Heroes ended... *sob sob* I wanted to see more of Hiro's encounter ...
Gurren Lagann and all its drilling and over dramatizing is getting nicer and nicer...
9 ge the driller is also back from down under.
I am going for my 1st ICT...

Movie of the Moment : A small preview... The wonders of Youtube...
"Why are you so tall ?" - a 7 year girl old asked me today.

" I believe in God's good intentions as much as I believe that the Internet have no PorN." - Gui
Someone had asked me recently why my updates seems to be slower and slower and each post is getting shorter and shorter. Frankly speaking ~ I think its because I have not been in the pink of health the last few weeks since Lunar New Year. I having been popping one or two panadol every 2 to 3 days since then.
Felt giddy on Monday when I was releasing human waste in one of the dark corners of the world. Thought my health had finally decline to a stage where I can finally go see a Doc. Then learnt 1 hr later that it was actually tremor from an earthquake that have stuck our lovely and generous southern neighbours.
Bleach 118 was simply delicously, wonderfully, amazingly, orgasmic. Almost wipe out my painful memories of the Bounto Arc...
Glad to say, other then my health, life have been pretty smooth for me, so smooth that I am feeling uneasy lol. Maybe the Joker above had enough fun with my life... or maybe he/she/it is storing a one time big big finishing blow for me, just like before . And sadly I will somehow survire it, just like before...
Going to pick my "Best 12" for the Robotic competition in September next week. This will be interesting...
Movie Of the Moment : I am still a Child who love watching this stuff :p
"In real life, there is no such thing as cause and effect, things can some times just happen"- My trusty text book.
*Sob Sob* Another nice show end its run. But I just got to show you people this scene.
The old man complaining here pain there pain remind me of someone. Everytime he want to win big, will stomach pain or something like that. Maybe his tummy being push by demons also :p
Useless Trivals:

"For once a protagonist that don't mind killing." - The very bored Gui
The start of a new anime season in Japan. So what have I cast my eyes on this season ? What is the best of the lot ?
After straining my eyes for about 1 weeks, without a doubt the clear winner is Code Geass : Leouch of the Rebellion. ( Death Note came close but since I already read finished the comic version, I lost interest in the anime)
The reasons why I like Code Geass, with some unbias comparsion from some other anime :
1) A Protagonist that will kill and manipulate everyone to achieve his aim, not like the pansy Kira and Arthun from Gundam Seed series.
2) The same Protagonist that kills even his 1/2 brother. I was always rooting for Arthun to kill Kira or vice verses but it never happened ( Came close when Arthun self destruct Aegis infront of Kira's face until Kira activated God Hack)
3) Although like Shinn of Gundam Seed Destiny, the Protagonist have a much better plan than randomly killing nameless people in seeking revenge.
4) The very useful special abilty of the Protagonist have its limit, unlike the ever spamming Kira.
5) The characters and Mecha designs look orginal.
6) You can hate both the protagonist and the antagonist as both side are equally not morally just.
7) There is romance, action, comedy, suspense, what more can you ask for in a show ?
8) Lancelot ( By the way, the Protagonist is not the pilot of Lancelot. Who needs a machine when you can...)
9) Fan service that is linked to the plot.( Honest)
10) Refer to the screenshots below.

Movie of the Moment: Possibly the 1st video i ever made, fix the audio problem in the previous version.
"Remember your lonely friend here. If you encounter any pretty lez that needs conversion to the right side, the side nature intended. Recommend the one with long hair to me. I am doing a divine duty by atoning for Cupid's mistake when he got drunk." -The divine and as usual helpful Gui
Don't know about the rest of you , but I simply love this day. One of the few days in the year I recieved good news. Such a waste that Totos are not regularly drawn on Fridays... Its juz 1 good news after the other today, just let me keep the joy to myself. Why are there so few friday the 13th in a year...?
One thing that I have to mention after watching epsiode 99 of Bleach is, I have begun to ask myself the inevitable... "Will the Bleach Frillers ( started at 64) be as long as Naruto's ?" Naruto's friller had lasted more than 1 year. With plots like the "Curry of Life" and god knows what other things you can find in the toilet bowl other than water, I have long forgotten why I started watching Naruto 4 years ago. Then again, the new intro to Bleach might be a sign that the frillers are ending soon ...
By the way its not Cartoon, its Anime :p
Movie of the Moment : Bleach 5th Intro, Rolling Star by Yui. How I envy Toshiro ( The kid with white hair)
"I want to be a master too and control Saber "- Lokie
Warning:
This Post is rated NC -18, not suitable for people under 18 due to subject being discuess.
Let me just give some background information for those who have no idea what I am going to talk about. Fate / Stay Night is an anime adapation of the H Novel of the same name. Its the story of 1 weak, horny young boy who managed to have control of 1 of the most beautiful and interesting character that everybody in the story want to possess - Saber. You can easily imagine the results of that combinaition. Here is a picture of Saber.
Its not that I have a sharp eye or anything, but I noticed something very interesting in the most recent epsiode of Fate / Stay Night. Before I come to that, as I was discuessing some interesting trend in Japanese Art Film with 9 Inch ealier in the day, I found the comic below, which would explain what I noticed.
And I shall end my post with what I noticed. Maybe I just have too much time on my hand. I'm sure more people will be interested in this anime after reading this post.
Ok, Singapore is too small. Can't believe I took the same taxi as my PS on 2 different day...Most of my friends actually knew each other( I meant friends I make in different places) Can't believe alot of other weird concidence lately. Maybe people who are meant to be together( not in the lovey dovy way ) will be pulled together by the dark & insidious hand of Fate ?
Enough of that, I have complete 1/2 my NS term... I have spend most of the time thinking about what to do with my life. The conclusion... it seems that there is really not much reason for me to continue breathing...The only reason why I continue to live is beacause I believe I might be able find something interesting if I am still alive. O well , another 1/2 term of Ns for me to find a better reason.
For your information... I have beat 9 inch and OCK in WE8 . And my take on animes I have watch recently...
Gundam Seed Destiny 22 was completely rubbish, the fight scenes were reused from previous battle. The only redeeming factor of this epsiode is the appearance of Freedom. I bet when Zaft engineerers designed Freedom, they must have keep in view that it have to be able to strike nice poses when it appear to make enemies in awe of it. Seriously, the series have been going down hill since 17
Naruto 126 was good. The scenes was rendered quite nice and the extra materials is a nice touch. Kimimaro is such a poor thing :(
Bleach 23 was ok. Not as good as before but much better than previous epsiode. And I finally get to see who is Shiba Kuukaku.
Buzzer Beater 6 is nice... I finally understand the Smokey Queens Home Advantage :p Things are going to get interesting.
BTW...This place is starting to be like a site to get review of anime weekly hmm...maybe I am watching too much anime lol.
Bye, got to go book in. Will be in an exercise until Good Friday, see u all then...~
