"1662. Thats the number of emails in my inbox" -Gui
To be more specified, that the number of emails I have in my inbox since Mon Dec 31, 2001. I usually delete unsolicated emails in my inboxes and spam mails or alert mails will just go into my junk mail. Those emails stored in my inbox are from various people in various part of my life. I was looking for an particular email that a friend of mine sent me years ago and then it occur to me as I was looking thru all my old emails, it felt as if I am l looking my own past ~
Some are sweet ( a very very very tiny percentage) some are threatening( you know, those with deadlines pressing me for assigiments) and some simply make no sense to me( those showing me various pictures of the world). I saw a few names, whom I simply have no idea who the sender is but the contents of the mail suggest that I might knew the person well back then. For a moment I was tempted to email a "hi" to them but some unknown force must have stopped me. So much can change in such a short time ~ Or was this memory lapse cause by National Slavery or maybe my short stay in the hospital ? I have no idea...
Why do I keep on these email ? The truth is, I simply didn't delete them back when Yahoo only Provided 20mb of storage ( maybe an unpopular person like me never recive enough to delete)Then they upgraded it to 1G, I see no reason to delete them as I am barely using 3% of the storage~~. Looking at the way technology is moving Guess I will keep them there till the day I pass on to the other side ~~
