I not elite

" I want to be an elite too, so that I can get away with any crap I write here, just like that elite that have an entry in Wikipedia" - 23 year old non elite bleeding Singaporean call Gui.

Living in Singapore sux. Even more so if you are born with an extra meat between your legs because you have to contribute some time throughout your whole life to serve and protect a greater cause. Anyway, it was during that period I encounter a mystical White Horse that even the greater powers above deny exists. And I thought that might be the last time that I encounter people that are seperated by class in Singapore since birth are openly shown.

I am a stupid crackpot, the sadder class that live in a poor neighbourhood according to a certain elite. I depended on the Government to subsidised my recent hospital stay and I am thankful to them. If you have been reading the news, there are more people jumping /falling onto Mrt tracks on my side of the island. I must say life sure doesn't look rosy from the bottom. Jumping into the elite catagory certainly is a faraway dream for me.

I envy the elite who can get away with what she wrote. It seems that the Sedition Acts only apply to racist bloggers, not to bloggers who incur the wrath of people by posting about a maybe imaginary invisible divider, the elites and non elites and calling the non elites the sadder class. Maybe its because her dad is a super elite ? I will never know.

The root of the problem is actually very simple. Its like someone striking 1M Toto openly attack and insult the poor guys that didn't win a single dollar, of course that won't sit well with the people. To prevent this from happening, one should just be happy with his or hers good lot and keep quiet about it. We all know elites exist, just like the mystical white horses, we just try to live with the brutal truth unless provoked of course.

But the truth is, be it elite or non elite, no one can avoid the inevitable doom. Everyone need to dance with the Grim Reaper someday. Let just simply lead your life with a clear concious that what you are doing is for the better good of everyone dear to you. And if you happen to be a super elite, what you do better be for the better good of all people.
