~Spring ~

It has been a roller coaster week for me... up up up and even more down down down moments... I truly feel that I need those green mushrooms in Super Mario .O well, lets forget it all as usual. Its the start of spring season in Japan ( I'm 1 week late I know). That means, its time for me to say bye bye to the slimest Gundams I ever seen in Gundam 00 and the guys with manly tears from Kaiji,and welcome some new series with open arms to fill in the void.
Before I start off, I must point out that the above two series are the cream of the corp in the winter season, the only 2 that have kept me hooked on like a fish to bait on a weekly basis. For your info... Naruto (Once the top anime in Japan) lost me when they decided to show 1 year of Frillers and its sequel, Naruto Shippuden ( top too when debuted last year)suffered the same fate when they needed 20min to explain what happened in 5 min.
Now, here are the spring animes I'm currently watching. With all due respect, its only been 1 week, I might just drop 1 or 2 of them or maybe add some new one as time passes.
The Tower of Druaga ~ The Aegis of Uruk~ With a name like that, one can safely assume its some fantasy story. Well it is. I have only watch 2 epsiode of it so far. The 1st epsiode subbed by the production studio itself, is freely avaiable on Youtube ( infact I heard the whole series will be so too ), impressed me alot , thou I can't say the same for the 2nd epsiode... Watching this show reminded me of the time, the very long time ago when I was conned/ corced into playing MMORPG like Rose Online, The Fourth Comming, and sad to say, the lifeless Maple Story...
Macross Frontier
The Macross series need not much explaination, but for those of you who have never heard of it, I will give a quick summary here. Alien wack earth. Human escape into space in giant spaceship. Then alien and human lived happily ever after or so it seems. Macross Frontier is the latest addition to the series. I always have mix feelings for the Macross series. I Love Macross Plus, like Macross : Do You Remember Love but dislike Macross Zero and is disguested with Macross 7 (It even has a aptly named side story call Macross 7 Trash). Unforunately, the later 2 are the newer shows in the series until Frontier of course. Frontier have a good start so far, the coloring is nice, and as long as the main char don't bring a guitar into the cockpit, sings in it too and starts firing speakers into some alien scum, I think this will be a good series.
Kamen No Maid Guy Its a comedy about a girl who is about to collect a large inheritance when she reach 18. Assassins were send to kill her to prevent her to collect the inheritance. Her gandfather hired a "maid" and "maid guy" to protect her and her brother. Although thats all there is to the plot, this is one of the few shows that actually made me laugh out loud. Its kinda like Fullmetal Panic Fumoffu , with an uglier male lead . Good thing he wears a mask to cover his face... But the things he does to his owner... I hope my maid never see this show... Code Geass R2 "If being powerless is a sin then is power justice ? Is revenge a sin ? Is friendship enough for justice ?" Oh my... I have been waiting for the 2nd season of Code Geass since last year, when they ended season 1 with 2 best friends on the verge of shooting one another and a crazy girl about to start a nuclear explosion. Well, R2 started 1 year after that scene... Which totally leave me blur blur... So what happen 1 year ago ? This is Code Geass after all, I doubt they will fail to entertain ~ Especially when the body bags have already started piling up in the very 1st epsiode, just like season 1..." We have been waiting for you Lord Zero" so have I my friends.
And yes thats its, Only 4 series that have caught my attention so far, out of the 40 + new series that was release for Spring.
