A Good Day
"My OC ask me to tell you all this. There is still hope in Phase 2..." - My Remedial Torture PTI
The lack of updates must have cause some people to think that something bad has befallen upon poor me. Sad to say, thats half the truth. I have been promoted to the 2nd phase of Remedial Torture, I did not win a damn cent in the New Year Toto, and Cupid is still alive out there somewhere.
All is not that bad actually and Friday seems to be the turning point, at least it look like one ... Went to my cousin Jane wedding... Thou I was not around for the engagement, I manged to made it to the wedding... *Will post photo here when I uploaded them*
And I finally 'bump into' Ting Ting today, thou the occasion is quite tense and everyone at the event seems nervous so never get to talk much...
But even more coincidential was bumping into HQ at during Phase 2 of my RT. My relationship with HQ preceeds even the 1st post in this blog. He was my PTP buddy when I was 1st enlisted, My 1st friend in the Motherland Navy Divorce Unit ( Yes I was 1st enlisted into the Navy). One of the few person I constantly talked to during our 2 weeks confinement, one of the few that go thru my darkest days with me, and like me, is a slacker who can't be bother to keep a healthy lifestyle. Thou we haven met since I got posted out, since he was posted to the Navy and I was posted out to the Army. A real pleasant suprise to bump into him today.
"When I saw the letter with the label 'On Government Service' on my table when I got home, I almost pee on the spot, only to find a seemly harmless CNY greeting from the Motherland army" - Gui relating the most exciting thing to happen to him on Valentines day 2008.
Today, I spend a wonderful day with the only person in the whole wide world that I trust, love, pampered, care for and once in a blue moon worship; myself. Heck, I even skipped remedial torture just so that I can be with myself after work. Thou the ghastly envelope did spoiled my mood for a moment, all was fine after I breeze thru the contents of the letter, despite the fact that it seems to be foreboding the comming of something I dislike inherently.
I do have a suggestion thou, the next time anyone intend to send any greetings to me, I hope they don't put it in an envelope with the words 'On Government Service'. There is a chance I that I might just burn it and pretend that I have never recieved it nor view its contents in the 1st place.
Lately( actually its 2 days ago), I am playing Wahjong( Its a silly alternative name for online mahjong) in Viwawa.com . My Nick is EvilGui and I am in need of some fresh challenge !!! Thou it can never beat the real Mahjong, where the feeling of the tile in your hand, the smell of fear in the air, the look of panic on people's face as you shout "Hu" or "Ron" and the hastening of heart beats as the game reaches its climate, but Wahjong is still feels like a good alternative to mahjong. At least my opponent won't feel a thing when I win the daylight out of them...
Last but not least, Happy Valentines Day to all the people that are like me ~ If you're unlucky enough, next year you might have to cough up an insane amount of cash and brain juice for Valentines Day 2009.

Its a strange thing... I realsie that the older I get, the more I find Chinese New Year troublesome. There are so little public holidays in the calendar and I have two spend 2 days answering all kind of nosenscial questions like " You got girlfriend or not, got also no need to hide" " Are you getting married this year ?"" So when you getting your Diploma ?"
Just for your information, I got my Diploma quite a few years ago...Can 't say the same for the rest thou...
I guess the only Perk is the Ang Baos... And the senseless and brute Mahjong games which I usually excel in a cool and quiet enviroment, unfortunately usually cannot be found in Chinese New Year :( I guess , Chinese New Year make me realise that 1 of the most important invention on Earth must be the Air Con. I don't care abt the CFCs and the holes it make in the Ozone Layer, I won't have last so long without it.

Sob sob, Just put my 8800 that have follow me for years to rest... of coz, that is nothing compare to the fact that Yin Tong have left for Brisbane. 淫法王, I will miss you...and your 淫talk.
CNY is comming , so is that dreadful day... Nope not V day, I'm used to being alone on V day... Its that day... Feb 17... the day my life starts to feel and taste like Newater before all the reverse osomis mumbo jumbo. I think I am not going to like this month... Anyway, I have come out with a list of things that might cheer me up alittle ... Should they happen of course...
1) Winning the Group 1 Prize in the Lunar New Year Toto draw I have won alot of small prizes in my humble and meaningless life, but this... It definitely will help me see my life thru a rosy tinted glass.
2) A Gurren Lagann Model or at least a Core Drill =p
Its not a secret that I am an over grown big fan of Tengen ToppaGurren Lagann.
3) A Date on V day It dosen't hurt to break the curse for once you know, and of course if my date look like her will be a big big big bonus. But I highly suspect my V day most likely will be as uneventful as the years before since 2004.
And when I don't have that , I don't mind reciving
4) Cupid's corpse... For the bad job it have done with my life.
